Lisa Silverman (リサ・シルバーマン ,Risa Shirubāman?) is a Caucasian girl raised in Sumaru City by her Japanophile parents. Despite her natural blond hair and blue eyes, she is unable to speak English; the misconception that she can is the cause of much confusion. However, she knows how to speak Cantonese (one of the southern Chinese dialects) in addition to her native Japanese, and often mixes both languages (often saying "Aiya!", "Chinyan", and other Chinese words). Lisa is a big fan of martial arts movies, especially by Bruce Lee. She is one of the more popular girls at Seven Sisters High School, and harbors a crush for Tatsuya. Lisa and Eikichi have a relationship reminiscent to that of Kei Nanjou and Masao Inaba from Megami Ibunroku Persona in that they are constantly at each other's throats. During a heated exchange, Eikichi nicknames her "Ginko" (銀子) (gin means silver in Japanese, taken from her last name and ko is a common Japanese name suffix for females) as an insult. Much to Lisa's chagrin, the name stuck.
A martial arts fanatic, Lisa uses her own fists to defend herself, equipping gloves to improve the force of impact. Like Tatsuya, Lisa wears a black Seven Sisters High uniform. However, she wears a red ribbon (signifying her status as second year student), as opposed to the blue ties/ribbons which fourth years wear.
She was the top candidate for Miss Sevens, a contest held at Seven Sisters High School similar to a beauty pageant/popularity contest. Most people assumed she spoke English. Lisa and her two friends Asacchi and Meepo were selected to be in the idol group MUSES, which was started through a rumor. The song that MUSES sings, with Lisa as the lead vocal and leader of the group, is called "Joker" which encourages people to call Joker to solve their problems. She then recites a piece from the Oracle of Maiya, the song of a foreign land portion being fulfilled through Lisa (who despite having been born and raised in Japan is technically a foreigner) becoming a idol and singing at a live concert that was highly publicized.
Her father, Steven Silverman, is a parody of Steven Seagal. Lisa comes from a wealthy family, and lives in a giant Japanese-style manor. Her father is seen wearing a yukata out of season, and insists on raising Lisa to be a traditional Japanese girl which she absolutely detests, rebelling by injecting broken Cantonese in her speech.
